At a time when the world feels like a village and destinies intertwine more closely each day, I wanted to step aside and take the time to create a work that speaks to everyone. By painting more than 200 countries by hand over several years, I sought to share a pictorial and meditative adventure celebrating the beauty of the world. It is an invitation to travel, to discover others, and to explore what connects us. Since the very beginning, my work has spoken above all of human dignity — and of our ability to live joyfully together.
